Wed 18 April, The History of the Oil Industry in Southern England with Simon Kay. Priory Barn, 7.30 pm for 8.00 pm, £2 (all welcome)
Our next Trust talk is a must for anyone interested in our industrial heritage.
March/April, The Wiltshire Medieval Graffiti Survey project 
The Wiltshire Medieval Graffiti Survey project will be conducting a survey of the Tithe Barn, focusing on graffiti (scratchings on stone), folk art and other uses of stone.  This will be a formal, non-invasive photographic survey. The end product will be a report that will include a typology of symbols, location and a set of high-quality images.  Please feel free to visit the Tithe Barn to have a look at what the team is doing.  If you would like to take part on a more formal basis, please contact Tony Hack at  The team will be on site from 10-4 on the following days:
