Circle Dance

Group coordinator – Celia Feane

Our Circle Dance group meets at United Church Hall, St Margaret’s Street on the third Wednesday of the month, usually starting at 2.30pm.

You don’t need a partner – just hold hands and copy our experienced leader as the dance progresses. A popular form of world dance, it’s a fun way to exercise, improve your wellbeing and enjoy a sense of community. Watch this video to see it in action.

There will be plenty of chances to rest or opt out of a dance and it’s advisable to wear comfy shoes and clothes. The session is expected to last about an hour and a half, including a break for refreshments. There’s a small fee of £3 (cash) as a contribution towards the hall hire.

New members are given a list of groups with contact details when they join. If you want to ask any questions about this group before you sign up to join our u3a, then please do come along to one of our monthly talks or new member events and chat to members. You can also contact a member of the committee via our Contact Us page.
