Café French is the newest French group. We meet at 2.30pm on the third Wednesday of each month at the coordinator’s house. Our aim is to maintain and improve our spoken French by means of conversation in French over a couple of hours with a “pause café” in the middle. Membership will be restricted so that everyone has a chance to contribute.

GROUP 3 – FRANCOPHILES (See separate group entry)
Every other Wednesday from 10am at members’ homes
The Francophile group meets fortnightly. The members converse in French on a variety of topics. Sometimes it is about what each member has been doing, but it could be about holidays in France, descriptions of regions of France and history and politics. We support each other in expressing ourselves in French. Anything goes! We also listen to recordings of French topics from a web site called Native French Speech, listen to French songs, and show photographs of France.
