Our new history group meets on the first and third Thursday of the month. Meetings run from 10.15am to 12.15pm.

Are you fascinated by the past? Our new History Group is for anyone who has an interest in history. We’ll work together to select topics, countries, specific time periods, events, or historical personalities to investigate, share and research together. Hopefully, group members will enjoy the process of discovery together and gain insight into how different elements shape people, places and history itself. 

If you are already a u3a member then you can contact Rosie or Kieran through our Beacon Members’ Portal or find their details on the group list. New members are given a group list with contact details when they join.
