Our first u3a holiday. We travelled to Reykjavik, Iceland for five days where we had some fascinating tours and also met the local u3a. If you’d like to read more about our experiences click here.

Holiday Group meeting, Thursday 4 September

Join our Holiday Group for its next meeting at 2.30pm on Thursday 4 September at The Boathouse.

Short break to Isle of Man, 26-29 September

Our u3a holiday club is running a short break to the Isle of Man staying at the 4 star Empress Hotel overlooking Douglas Bay. With a large lounge and a conservatory that features panoramic sea views the hotel offers a choice of dining options. These include a French-style brasserie restaurant or the Piano Bar which serves a full bar menu until 9.30pm. The modern hotel rooms have satellite TV and tea & coffee making facilities. It’s a short 10-minute stroll to a variety of shops as well as restaurants along the prom.

If you want to book or have any questions call into Travel Options For You on St Margarets Street. They promise a full schedule of things to see and do and with a start and finish in Bradford on Avon Station car park so should be a nice easy option!
