Our new Sociology discussion group meets on the first Tuesday of the month at the Quaker Meeting House starting at 1.30pm.

Sociology is the study of human society. It examines a wide range of topics from small groups (like families and schools) to large-scale societies and analyses the social causes and consequences of human actions. If you’d like to join the group you can sign up through the Beacon Members’ Portal or get Paul’s contact details from the group list.

New members are given a group list with contact details when they join. If you want to ask any questions about this group before you join our u3a, then please come along to one of our monthly talks or new member events. You can also contact a member of the committee via our Contact Us page.
