History of houses

Margaret Wiggins has taken over the admin of the group (869297)   (margoalanwiggins@btinternet.com

In February, 8 members attended a meeting at the Swan to decide whether the group wanted to continue, and they were all very keen.
Not sure yet about how other arrangements will work out, but Maureen Wood and Gareth Slater are helping out at the moment.
We are continuing to meet at the Swan at 2.30 on the fourth Tuesday afternoon  in the month and attendance has been good.
Gareth has produced a long list of Houses we can investigate and in March he spoke about Little Ashley and invited the  owners of the three cottages along to talk about them.
In April, Beryl Turner spoke about the history of the Three Gables and at the next meeting Maureen Woodinv investigated the cottages in Barton Orchard.
Other forthcoming topics will be The Old Manor House in Whitehill, Woolley Grange and Berryfields.
